Sheetal Muley, Ph.D., is the senior director, R&D at Experic. Sheetal strengthens alliances with Experic’s customers and business partners by providing leadership and guidance to the formulation, process development, and technical project management teams.
With more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with previous roles in large, midsize, and startup pharmaceutical companies, Sheetal has demonstrated strong expertise in formulation and process development, scale-up, quality by design (QbD), and technology transfer. She is skilled in new chemical entity (NCE) product research and development and life cycle management of oral solids, parenteral products, implants, and combination drug products for small molecules and peptides.
In addition, Sheetal has contributed to multiple regulatory submissions and possesses substantial knowledge of regulatory guidelines. She gained expertise in development of tools for process analytical technology at Schering-Plough Research Institute and tools for business and development process improvement through Lean Six Sigma strategies at Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
Sheetal earned her MPharm. from Jamia Hamdard, India, and Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences (drug delivery) from the School of Pharmacy, University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also a certified project management professional.
